The first 23.5 hectares of new West African rainforest were established today by our local staff… We are starting our reforestation just south of Kamakwie in the villages of Kasimbek and Kakissy. We will sign the contracts during our next stay in Sierra Leone.

All contracts are signed – by the landowners, the Chiefs, the Forest Department and the District Government! A dream becomes reality: We plant a new rainforest in West Africa. For the local people a good reason to celebrate – and for us too!
